I know, my photography blog has been so neglected… but I’m hoping to change that! Although I have been shooting, I’ve been so busy since baby my was born, first with adjusting to my new newborn and then with setting up a new Photo Studio in Great Neck, Long Island NY – just 25 minutes away from NYC!
Although I’m already shooting sessions in the studio, I still have a few finishing touches to complete before sharing photos…
and I can’t wait to do that!
But for now, I’ll start with posting photos I’ve taken of my baby since posting his newborn photos up until his 6 Month Photos.
I can’t wait to hear from all you Mamas who want to document your babies! They grow and change so fast, it just unbelievable to watch a newborn turn into a full little bundle of personality in just a few short months!
The first photos were taken in the Fall – at a month old, we had a random day with nice weather. I was actually a bit disappointed that I missed shooting session during the Fall, but these photos did make up for it!
At 10 weeks, I dressed my baby in those most gorgeous & adorable outfit I received as a baby gift.
Then, during the freezing winter months, when my baby was a bit over 3 months, I put together this set-up & absolutely fell in love with these images! I personally don’t recommend scheduling 3 month baby session because generally too big for newborn style photos and too little to show their adorable personalities to the camera. As his mother, I was able to wait around for the opportune time to take some photos.
and then, at 4 months, I decided it was high time to document the cold winter season my son was born… Yes, that is outdoors in the ice & snow… but have no fear, it was a random slightly warmer day & he was fully bundled up under those blankets!
When my baby was 5 months, I signed the studio lease & started to pull the place together.
These are the first shots I took in the studio (other than some iphone shots documenting the studio progress).
And for the ending with the 6 month photos … I took these yesterday in the studio.
